Obasanjo Hosts Envoys’ Conference

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo will on Thursday host a two-days Embassies and Consular Missions Conference, ECMC in Abeokuta, Ogun State.  The conference organised by Worldwide Economic Development Agency Limited, WEDAL is a gathering of all Ambassadors in Nigeria, Foreign Missions, Consulars, Diplomatic Staffs, Government Agencies and captains of industry. The theme of the conference is enhancing the relationship between foreign Missions and Nigeria.                                        Media Officer of the conference, Mr. Henry Ojelu in a statement said that the event  will hold at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Complex in Abeokuta.

According Mr. Ojelu, those expected at the event includes Professor Pat Utomi, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, Foreign Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Consul Generals, Captains of Industries amongst others

Mr. Ojelu noted that the event has the full support of all relevant stakeholders including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Missions in Nigeria and security agencies.
